Police: Man pulled over for window tinting results in arrest, multiple charges

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Lou. man was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 3,  around 5:00 a.m. after police pulled him over, in the 3900 block of Breckenridge Lane in Louisville, and found more than $7,500 and drug paraphernalia after a search.

Police say 22-year-old Feras Mohammed was pulled over on Sunday because his car had extremely dark tinted windows. Police asked Feras if he had anything illegal in his car and he said he had a gun in the glove box.

Police found a Kahr semi-automatic pistol and after that Feras gave police consent to search his car, according to the police report. Police say they found a rubber banded wad of money on Feras totaling $7,575.

The police report says marijuana shake, a bag of marijuana and two counterfeit $100 bills were found in Feras’ car.

Feras also gave police consent to search his cell phone and police found text messages showing his involvement in narcotic sales, according to the police report.

Feras is charged with excessive windshield tinting, two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and trafficking in controlled substance.
