Police: Man charged for robbery, burglary of man and 14-month-old child

According to police documents, Cedric Weaver was arrested Monday for breaking into a home in the 3100 block of south Crums Lane in Louisville. Police say he held a man and an 18-month-old child at gun point demanding money and drugs.

(WHAS11) -- A Louisville man has been arrested in connection with a December 2, 2012 burglary, robbery and assault of a man and his young child at their home.

According to police documents, Cedric Weaver was arrested Monday for breaking into a home in the 3100 block of south Crums Lane in Louisville. Police say he held a man and an 18-month-old child at gun point demanding money and drugs.

Police say he tied the victims up with duct tape and hit the man over the head with a pistol. Weaver allegedly told the victim that if he did not get what he was looking for, he was going to shoot the baby.

Weaver is now facing Robbery, Burglary, Wanton Endangerment and Assault charges.
