Police: Man arrested after robbery at Louisville Subway

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Louisville man, 22-year-old Jamaal Mansul Harville, was arrested on Saturday, Dec. 7, after police say he robbed a Subway in the 7000 block of Global Drive.

Police say Harville entered the Subway at 5:10 p.m. on Dec. 7 and brandished a shotgun, demanded and received the business' cash and personal property of the robbery victims.

According to police Harville fled the scene in a robbery victim’s car, but was later spotted by an officer heading southbound on the Greenbelt Highway right after the robbery.

The police report says the officer stopped Harville in the 9800 block of Lower River Road. Police say Harville was wearing the same clothing when the robbery took place and had a backpack with him filled with the money stolen from the Subway and a shotgun.

Police say Harville admitted to his involvement in the robbery. Harville is charged with robbery in the first degree.
