LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Louisville Metro Police detective arrested 31-year-old Kristopher Reed after police said they found a bag of marijuana in this Dodge Charger and a large amount of cash on Friday, March 21.
According to the police report a detective was driving behind Reed’s Charger on Algonquin and could smell marijuana. Police said Reed also failed to signal when switching lanes and pulled Reed over.
The police report said as a detective walked up to the Charger they could smell marijuana and as the detective reached the window he could see a bag of marijuana in the center console. According to police they also found a large amount of cash in Reed’s front, left pocket.
Large bags of marijuana, which were packaged for sale, were also found in a book bag and an empty box with bags that had marijuana residue on them, according to police.
Reed is charged with trafficking in marijuana and trafficking in a controlled substance in or near a school.
