Police: Man arrested after calling 911 and threatening police

Mark E. Wright, 48, is charged with menacing, assualt and resisting arrest after police said Wright called 911 and stated that he was going to come to the police station and kill officers.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A man was arrested Monday evening after allegdly calling the LMPD and allegedly threatening to kill them.

Mark E. Wright, 48, is charged with menacing, assault and resisting arrest after police said Wright called 911 and stated that he was going to come to the police station and kill officers.

When police arrived on the scene, they said Wright was destroying the home he shared with his sister. Police said Wright then yelled that he was going to beat the officers and smash their faces with a telephone.

According to police reports, as officers attempted to arrest Wright, he kicked and punched officers.
