LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police arrested a man, who is accused of breaking in to a vacant house, in the 2130 block of West Oak Street in Louisville Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 5:10 p.m.
According to a police report when officers arrived they heard rummaging coming from inside the house at a side entrance. The police say 43-year-old Perry Caldwell Jr. was found standing inside the house with an AC unit attached to a dolly getting ready to leave.
Caldwell told police he had a drug habit and was trying to get money from whatever he could find.
Caldwell is charged with burglary.
