LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police arrested a 53-year-old man after they say he admitted he had a “blunt” in his possession to an officer on Nov. 18.

According to a police report an officer pulled Louis Wayne Stephenson over after Stephenson failed to signal while turning on 25th to Kentucky. Police say he also failed to stop at a stop sign.

The police report said Stephenson told police he had a “blunt” and gave it to the officer. The officer asked if Stephenson had anymore, and police say Stephenson said he had a few bags in the ash tray.

Police said that after a search an undetermined amount of cash was found.

Stephenson is charged with trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, trafficking marijuana, disregarding a stop sign and failure to or improper signal.
