LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man faces charges Thursday night, Dec. 12, after police say he tried to go after an officer's weapon.
Police were called to a home on East Washington Street Wednesday night where they say 36-year-old Clint Wright was refusing to leave.
The officer asked Wright to leave several times and police say that's when Wright grabbed the officer around the legs and tried to take her weapon.
The officer told Wright she would tase him, he said he didn't care and that's when police say the officer tased Wright twice.
He's charged with assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and alcohol intoxication.
