Police: Doss High School student threatens teacher during graduation

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – On June 6 police said 19-year-old Leberis Peterson was disrespectful to a teacher during a Doss High School assembly for graduation.

According to police, Peterson was repeatedly asked to return to his assigned seat during the assembly.
Police said during the assembly, when he was asked to leave, Peterson stood up and chest-bumped the teacher.

Peterson called the teacher a name and said he would beat the teacher too, according to Police.

Police said Peterson is an active student at Doss High School.

Peterson is charged with abuse of a teacher, terroristic threatening and harassment.
