LOUISVILLE, Ky -- A Louisville woman has been arrested after police said she was driving under the influence of drugs with a young child improperly buckled in the backseat.

Police say Kimberly Moss was pulled over for driving 79 MPH on Interstate 264 Tuesday evening and officers noticed she had slurred speech, glossy eyes and reportedly admitted to smoking marijuana an hour prior to the traffic stop.

Police say she failed several field sobriety tests administered at the scene and admitted to taking heroin Monday.

A 4-year-old child in the car at the time was not in a booster seat and two other adults were also not wearing seat belts.

Moss is charged with booster seat violations, driving under the influence, child endangerment and reckless driving and speeding. Police say she also failed to show an insurance card.
