LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police arrested a Louisville woman on charges of tampering with evidence after they say she hid a needle in her vagina.
Jamie Alwood, 24, was arrested by police on outstanding bench warrants. According to a police report Alwood was found to be in possession of a needle, common with the use of heroin, located in her vagina.
The police report says Alwood concealed the needle to avoid prosecution. She also took it inside the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
Alwood has been charged with tampering with physical evidence and promoting contraband.
