HYDEN, Ky. (AP) -- Police in eastern Kentucky say the grandmother and mother of two children photographed with joints in their mouths have been charged and the children removed from their home.
Leslie County sheriff's Deputy Adrian Cornett said on Monday that the children were boys. Cornett said one was 1-year-old and the other between 3 and 5.
The photos had been developed at a local business, which turned them over to the sheriff's department Friday.
Cornett says the grandmother, 51-year-old Beth Ann Hensley, has been charged with trafficking, possession and cultivation of marijuana. He says the children's mother, Tracy Hensley, was charged with unlawful transaction with a minor and child endangerment.
Cornett said five children, ages 1 to 7, were removed from Tracy Hensley's home and placed with a relative.
