SCOTT COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) – A man wanted in connection to a shooting that happened on May 27 on Bard Road near Crohtersville, Ind.  was arrested on Sunday, July 13.

Police said thirty-five-year-old Jay McGinnis, of Austin, Ind., suffered a minor injury as a result of the Crothersville shooting and the window to his 2006 Nissan Altima was shot out.  The investigation led police to 28-year-old Jonathon Lee “Chisel” Chilton and since the incident, law enforcement in the area have spent numerous man hours following leads and searching for Chilton.

Chilton was arrested at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Scottsburg. ISP said they received a citizen’s tip Chilton was in the Scottsburg area.
