(WHAS11) -- One of the people charged with running a suspected puppy mill in Henry Co., Ky. faced a judge Monday morning.
Terri Smith was arraigned on 218 counts of animal cruelty.
Her husband, Kenneth Smith bonded out of jail over the weekend.
Last week, investigators searched their property in Campbellsburg and found more than a hundred dogs, cats, dozens of horses, rabbits and an owl and even a wolf.
Police say most the animals were living in their own filth with no food or water.
