LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Pleasure Ridge Park High School student was arrested Monday after police said she caused "a break in normal school operations."
According to the arrest report, 18-year-old Shantarra Willis was upset with PRP's assistant principal and began shouting, cussing and disrupting the main office.
The assistant principal called in the resource officer and when he attempted to take Willis into custody, police said she became physical.
The report states Willis punched the officer in the face. The assistant principal tried to help and that's when police said she punched him in the face at least five times and kneed him in the groin.
Police said Willis was extremely violent and continued to fight until the officer placed her into handcuffs.
Willis is charged with two counts of assault, resisting arrest, menacing, abuse of a teacher and disorderly conduct.
