LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- According to police a fight broke out during a Sweet 16 party Sunday evening in Sheppard Park. Police say shots were fired before 8 p.m.
A 15-year-old was hit in the backside during the fight at 15th and Magazine Streets. He was sent to University Hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
Police have arrested three people, including the victim's brother, for disorderly conduct. Police say they believe there is only one shooter, but they are still searching for a person of interest.
Christopher 2x was at Sheppard Park an hour before the shooting and says the party was peaceful and everyone was having fun.
