LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- No plea deal for two men facing murder charges in connection to a shooting on a Tarc bus.

On Wednesday morning, Jan. 8, the Commonwealth offered a deal to Martin Keehn and Jeffrey Kingdon that would have put them behind bars for 35 years, but they didn't accept.

Both men are charged with killing Rico Robinson Junior back in July of 2012--the shooting happened on a Tarc bus near Goldsmith Lane.

The Commonwealth says they are willing to make another offer but they aren't sure of the terms.

They will be back in court on March 12.
