LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville police are looking for three suspects they said robbed a fast food restaurant early Wednesday morning.

The robbery happened around 3 a.m. when police said three masked suspects entered the McDonald's at Indian Trail and Preston Highway and demanded money.

Four employees and one customer where inside the restaurant at the time of the robbery. Police said shots were fired, but no injuries were reported.

The suspects left the scene in a car with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A sign posted on the door stated the business was "closed until further notice," but that sign has since been removed.

This robbery marks the third at a fast food restaurants during July.

Two weeks ago, two masked suspects entered a Dairy Queen in Middletown as the store opened for the day, fired a shot into the ceiling and demanded money. July 4, a masked suspect wearing dark clothing opened fire while trying to rob a Wendy's on South Hurstbourne Parkway.
