(WHAS11) - A new judge will hear the third murder trial for former Indiana State Trooper David Camm.
The court has appointed Spencer Circuit Judge Jonathan Dartt to handle David Camm's case.
Camm's lawyer asked for Judge Robert Aylsworth to be removed for exceeding a 30 day limit for deciding on a venue change request.
Camm remains in prison. He has been convicted twice in the 2000 deaths of his wife and two children in Georgetown. Both convictions were overturned.
Attorneys on both sides say they look forward to the case moving forward.
