NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A New Albany woman pleaded guilty to killing her lover, Charles Pierce, in Floyd County, Ind. on Jan. 29.

Police said Lisa Schuler killed Pierce to hide her affair from her husband, in 2013, when she learned Pierce had compromising photos of her.

The plea deal Schuler accepted includes a 45-year prison sentence.

Her sentencing is set for March 5.
