JENNINGS COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11)—Indiana police officers banned together with federal agents to capture a fugitive who has been on the run.
Police were called to a residence in the Nebraska area after reports that Rocky Tyler, a fugitive, was spotted.
Witnesses said that prior to the police arrival to the residence, the individual entered a heavily wooded area south of the home.
Police said a search of the woods was conducted with K-9 units, as Tyler once again attempted to resist arrest and flee from police.
Tyler was taken to the emergency room for treatment for dog bites, he was later released and transported to the Jennings County Jail where he was booked on several warrants and is also being charged with resisting arrest in the later fleeing attempt.
Tyler is also wanted on various felony charges in Jefferson and Ripley Counties in Indiana.
