LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A St. Matthews man lands behind bars after police say he stole silver from his parents and sold it to buy drugs.
19-year-old William Vieth admitted to taking the silver after his mother took him to the St. Matthews Police Department.
Police say she suspected he had something to do with the theft.
Police also say Vieth told them that he had a friend sell it for $1200 and the money was used to buy heroin.
