LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- As family and friends are preparing to remember 11-year-old Dylan Geitgey, we are learning more about the woman that struck and killed him, and what may have led to the accident.

Police say that alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, toxicology results are pending.  They say Angela Baumia, 30, was behind the wheel of her Ford Escort Saturday night when she swerved to avoid another boy on a bike and hit Dylan, then hit two parked cars. Baumia was found guilty of a DUI back in 2004. Police say she will face charges in this case once police get the results of a blood test.

Dylan's friends say he will be remembered as fun kid who loved playing basketball. He went to Chancey Elementary and was planning to attend Westport Middle in the fall. Funeral plans are pending. His family says his organs have been donated.
