(WHAS11) -- The mother of an Indiana University Student who has been missing for more than a year is lashing out in a second letter meant for her daughter’s killer.
The letter, which was posted online Thursday, from Lauren Spierer’s mother is addressed "To whom it may concern."
It reads in part:
“I hope you have as many sleepless nights as I have. I hope that someday, your parents, your siblings, your friends will all be in a courtroom when your true self is revealed, the self which was born on June 3, 2011 when you took Lauren from us.”
Twenty-year-old Lauren disappeared in June 2011, after a night of partying with friends in Bloomington.
Last month a skull was found in the White River near Indianapolis - testing is underway to see if the skull belongs to Spierer - which her mother also mentioned in the letter.
