LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Two Louisville men are facing charges after police said they attacked a homeowner with a hammer after the victim opened his door to them.
Police say 34 year-old Michael Luckenbill and 36 year-old Michael Luker pushed their way into the home on Summerview Drive in far southwestern Jefferson County Sunday night, March 30.
The victim told officers Luckenbill punched him in the face, both suspects assaulted him and that Luckenbill hit him several times with a hammer.
Luckenbill and Luker are accused of taking $800, a gold necklace and more than 100 hydrocodone pills.
Both men are charged with robbery.
