Man who fell through skylight facing more charges

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The man arrested after falling through a skylight at a downtown building is facing more charges.

Police said 34-year-old Kenneth Splunge broke into an office at the Galt House over Christmas and stole a laptop, a television and two-way radios.

According to the arrest report, Splunge was caught on camera walking the hallways and trying to get into locked rooms and offices.

Splunge was arrested after police said he fell 20 feet from the roof of a building at Third and Main.

He broke his leg in the incident and called 9-1-1 to report the incident.

Splunge is charged with third-degree burglary for the break-in at the Galt House and second-degree burglary for the skylight incident.
