Lebanon, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Kentucky State Police detectives are working to determine the cause of a deadly overnight shooting in Raywick, Kentucky.
Police say 22-year-old David Litsey of Lebanon, Kentucky was shot and killed outside Raywick Bar and Grill early Friday morning.
Litsey was a father of three. His family says he was fatally shot in the neck when he was trying to break up a fight and died while being transported to Springview Hospital.
Sheriff Jimmy Clements said this is the first homicide investigation in Raywick in several years.
Eternity Smith, Litsey's niece, says her uncle was a family man who loved to joke around.
A Raywick's Bar and Grill employee who did not want to be identified said Thursday nights has become increasingly wild at the bar and several fights have broken out.
Sheriff Clements says his deputies do patrol around the bar more on those nights.
Kentucky State Police are investigating the deadly shooting and are asking anyone with information to call them.
No arrests have been made.
