BEDFORD, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man is behind bars in Trimble County and is now charged with the murder of 24-year-old Angela Long.
According to a news release, 25-year-old Robert Baldwin called the Kentucky State Police Post #5 around 5 a.m. Wednesday morning, Nov. 27, and told dispatchers he wanted to turn himself in on outstanding warrants. Police said Baldwin also told dispatchers he "hurt someone and they were possibly deceased."
Troopers made contact with Baldwin before he arrived at the post and arrested him on the outstanding warrants.
After speaking with Baldwin, police said they went to a home on Kinlee Drive in Bedford where they found the body of Long, of Pendleton.
The investigation is ongoing and an autopsy will be performed to determine Long's cause of death.
Baldwin is being housed at the Carroll County Detention Center.
