(WHAS11) -- A Louisville woman may lose an eye after police say her ex-boyfriend stabbed her with a knife.
Jason Alexander is facing assault charges.
Police say last month Alexander broke into his ex-girlfriend's home, even though she had a domestic violence protection order against him.
The victim's 15-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter were home at the time of the assault.
