(WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man and charged him with murder after a fatal wreck Sunday night.
According to court documents, David Gurley was driving on Dixie Highway near Blanton when he rear-ended a motorcycle stopped at the stoplight. The victim has been identified as 61-year-old Gerald Goldsmith. The coroner says Goldsmith died from multiple blunt force.
Police say Gurley admitted to drinking and had a blood alcohol content level of .295.
The car then went on to hit two more vehicles leaving minor damage.
According to court documents, following the collision Gurley had 'no remorse for his actions.'
