LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man faces multiple charges after assaulting an officer.
According to a police report, Stephon Simmons, 20, punched an LMPD officer and fled on foot after police arrived on the scene of a disturbance at 206 N 32nd Street in Louisville.
Officers eventually found Simmons in a bedroom sheilding himself with a 2-year-old child.
With force, the officers were able to remove the child from the scene and make an arrest, according to the police report.
Simmons was charged with assault, fleeing, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
