LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville man was arrested on Sunday following an alleged Christmas Day assault of a 74-year-old man.
Police said Lamont Johnson was watching a sporting event on television at 74-year-old Leo Smith's home on Christmas Day when Johnson became angry.
Police said Johnson took comments about the game the wrong way and approached Smith, who was sitting on his recliner, and punched him with a closed fist multiple times in the face.
Johnson then, according to police, took the victim's handgun before fleeing the scene.
Smith was taken for treatment and it was determined he had blindness in one eye due to the punches.
