Man arrested for pulling a knife on TARC bus

Shontae Bishop is charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct and first degree wanton endangerment.

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) – A man was arrested last night for pulling a knife on the TARC bus.

According to police records, Shontae Bishop was acting belligerent and started a verbal argument with another passenger. He then got up and started a physical altercation.

It was then reported that the 34-year-old Bishop pulled out a knife and threatened the fellow passenger. The victim was able to gain control of the knife and had the suspect subdued when officers arrived on the scene.

Police officers reported that Bishop appeared intoxicated; they reported that he was slurring his words, had bloodshot eyes, and that they could smell alcohol on Bishop.

Bishop was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, disorderly conduct and first degree wanton endangerment.
