(WHAS11) -- A man has been arrested in Clark County after police say he broke into an apartment and assaulted his ex-girlfriend.
Court documents say Anthony Johnson is charged with burglary, strangulation and domestic battery.
He said in a court hearing that he is a firefighter with the Anchorage Fire District in East Jefferson county, but WHAS11 is still waiting for confirmation from their chief.
He is in jail on a $25,000 bond.
