LOUISVILLE, Ky -- A Louisville teenager is facing several charges after police said he admitted to breaking into several cars in Prospect.
Police said Tanner Munday, 18, was arrested Saturday afternoon in the 9700 block of US 42. Munday took a knife and broke a window to enter a garage of a house, police wrote in their arrest report.
That incident happened Saturday morning in the 6100 block of Tidewater Court. Police said Munday took a computer and a briefcase valued at $700 from a car. He also allegedly took a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, which were valued at $800, from a car in the 5600 block of Timber Ridge Court.
Police noted that Munday fled from officers on May 9, 2014 while allegedly breaking into a vehicle and injured an officer when he was taken into custody Saturday. The circumstances behind that injury were not made clear.
Tanner Munday is charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools, theft, criminal mischief and fleeing police.
Police noted in their arrest report that thirty more charges are likely to be filed after Munday admitted to other break-ins.
