Man arrested after 200 pairs of shoes stolen from Bardstown

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A man is under arrest after hundreds of pairs of shoes were stolen.

Brandon Humphrey is facing numerous charges including receiving stolen property after 200 pairs of shoes went missing from a storage locker.

The Bardstown Rotary Club had been using the locker to store 200 pairs of shoes which it had collected to help children in need.

Humphrey is currently lodged at the Nelson County Jail.

Police in Bardstown have recovered the shoes and have returned them to the rotary club.
