LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – On April 14 22-year-old Tevin Bald was arrested and is accused of taking a woman’s laptop, beating the woman and threatening her.
On Jan. 15 Bald went to a woman’s home, in Louisville, to visit and took her laptop, valued at less than $500 and left the scene, police said.
The woman contacted Bald and told him he left his phone at her house, according to the police report. Police said she told Bald that if he would return her laptop she would give him his phone.
According to the police report Bald continuously contacted the woman demanding the phone or he was going to come to her home and hurt her; he also told her not to call police.
Police said on Jan. 25 Bald came to the woman’s home and kicked the back door in. The woman was hiding in the bedroom with her children when Bald kicked in the locked bedroom door.
Police said Bald pushed the woman down the stairs and struck her several times in the face with a gun. Bald fled the scene before police arrived.
After the Jan. 25 incident, Bald contacted the woman, while police were at her house, and said he was not playing and that if it was bad this time, wait until the next time he comes over, according to the police report said.
According to police the woman was taken to Norton Hospital for treatment where she had to get 10 stitches for a head laceration. Police said the woman also lost a piece of her ear during the struggle.
Bald is charged with burglary in the first degree, wanton endangerment in the first degree and intimidating a participant in the legal process.
