LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville police have arrested a man they said stole items worth thousands of dollars from his employer.
Forty-one-year-old Lance Ballou is charged with theft by unlawful taking after police said he ordered approximately $40,000 worth of electrical wire on his employer's account without permission.
According to the police report, Ballou sold the wire for $12,335 at River City Metals. Police said sales slips from E&H Electric and River City Metals correspond with with time items were picked up and then scrapped.
