Police: Woman urinates on cell floor after public intoxication arrest

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville woman was charged with public intoxication after she was allegedly found drunk inside a Subway restaurant on Preston Highway. .

According to the police report, a Louisville Metro police officer responded to a report of an intoxicated female arriving at the Subway restaurant in the 7600 block of Preston Highway with a child in the vehicle around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Makiska Thompson, 35, smelled of alcohol, police said, and was observed stumbling around with slurred speech and glassy eyes.  The female blew a .17 on a PBT and was then arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.

When Thompson was placed in a cell after arriving at Metro Corrections, officers said she pulled down her pants and urinated on the floor.

Thompson is charged with intoxication in a public place and criminal mischief.
