Louisville man facing drug charges after doughnut theft arrest

Mark Sailines Jr. is charged with theft, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A man is facing four charges after he was accused of stealing from a local store.

According to a police report, 31-year-old Mark W. Sailines, Jr. was apprehended Thursday as he left a store on Mitshcer Avenue.

Police said Sailines walked out of the store with a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Officers arrested Sailines and took him back in to the store where he was searched.
 

After a bit of resistance, officers said they found two bags of marijuana on his person.

Sailines is charged with theft, possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.
