LOUISVILLE, Ky (WHAS11) -- George Russell Horton Jr. of Louisville was arrested along with his 17-year-old accomplice for stealing guns from Shooter's Supply.

The two were arrested in Indiana as they were attempting to sell other stolen guns.

According to the police report, Horton admitted they had stolen approximately 48 guns from numerous businesses including Shooter's Supply.

Police said Det. Joseph Seamon contacted Shooter's Supply and learned at least five guns were missing from their inventory. One of the stolen Shooter's Supply guns was found in Horton's residence in Shively by the Jeffersonville Police Department.  Two more of the Shooter's Supply guns were found at the residence of his accomplice.

Horton was charged with five counts of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and second degree unlawful transaction with a minor.
