LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A man arrested Wednesday is facing some serious charges after police said two dogs in his custody died.
Antwon N. Rondo, 25 of Louisville, is accused of not providing food and water for the dogs.
According to the arrest warrant, Rondo kept the dogs, along with 11 other emaciated animals, were found at a home in Louisville after a report was called in to the sheriff's office after Rondo's co-defendant, who was not named in the report, was evicted from the home.
Police said the two dogs were found deceased in cages in the garage. Investigators also said the dogs the time period between the date of death and the day they were found made it impossible to conduct a necropsy.
Rondo is charged with failure to provide provision of necessities.
