Louisville man accused of scamming family back in court

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Louisville man accused of scamming the family of a 2-year-old cancer patient in Elizabethtown appeared in Jefferson County court.

Kyle Nunn has been charged with theft.

Police report he offered to set up a benefit concert to raise money for leukemia treatments, but instead stole nearly $3,000 from the family and nearly $6,000 from a bar that had agreed to host the event.

Nunn is being held on a $1,500 bond and is expected to be back in court on Monday.
