LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville woman was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving is facing more charges than just a DUI after police said she began acting belligerently during a sobriety test.
According to an arrest report, LMPD officers observed a vehicle swerving all over the roadway, crossing over several lanes and jerking back across as music blared from the vehicle. Police initiated a traffic stop and said 37-year-old Shakira E. Beeler had difficulty turning down the music and finding her identification.
The police report states Beeler told officer she had 1-2 drinks at a club, but officer said they could smell a strong odor of alcohol. Officers asked Beeler to get out of the car. According to the report, Beeler was stumbling and almost fell, and she could not make eye contact with officers.
Officers tried to administer a field sobriety test, but said Beeler would not follow instructions and refused to take any sobriety test. She then began yelling, saying her family was full of judges and lawyers. Police said she then began cursing and said, "I ain't doing no slavery s**t" and "this is some slavery s**t."
Once officers got Beeler into the patrol car, she began yelling again, this time it was caught on camera. The report states Beeler called officers names and threatened them, saying she was going to "f*** up your children and your husband."
Beeler was taken to Metro Corrections and once in jail, officer said she became unruly and had to be cuffed to the bench. She then pulled down her pants and urinated all over the floor.
Beeler is charged with indecent exposure.
