LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Theft of baby formula from a local Kroger store led to a Louisville man’s arrest Wednesday evening.

Police say 43-year-old Anthony Mask was at the Kroger in the 2700 block of West Broadway with his young daughter when he paid for some items using the self-checkout but bagged large amounts of canned baby formula.

Kroger security officers say Mask tried to leave the store with the merchandise but was caught at the door.

Kroger said the stolen formula was estimated to be worth $164.

Mask has been charged with theft by unlawful taking and criminal trespassing in the third degree.
