JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man is facing charges Thursday night. He is accused of beating his girlfriend right in the middle of I-65 in Southern Indiana.
Marcelo Giovanni's girlfriend told Indiana State Police that he threw her from the car in Jeffersonville.
Police got a call Wednesday morning about a man hitting a woman in the interstate median but when they arrived the scene was clear.
But later in the day Jeffersonville police told them a woman was being treated for injuries at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Giovanni had already left the hospital but was later arrested at a traffic stop.
