LMPD officer pleads not guilty to misconduct, theft charges

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville Metro Police officer pleaded not guilty on Monday, Feb. 17, on charges stemming from accusations he billed the city for bogus overtime.

A pretrial date has been set for Christopher Thurman on March 24 at 10:15 a.m.

Court documents claim Thurman falsely reported overtime activity which led to more than $10,000 being stolen from the city.

He's charged with official misconduct and theft by deception.
