LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS) -- A Louisville father is facing child endangerment charges after police said the man left his 7-year-old son home alone without food or water.

Police found the child when they responded to a "child left alone" call. The child told officers he had to use a bucket to go to the bathroom.

The child's father, Jason Tanner, is charged with abandonment of a minor, endangering the welfare of a minor and drug possession.
