(WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested two men who, they say, were caught conspiring to rob a bank.

According to court documents, a detective with the Louisville Metro Police Department was driving near the Chase Bank at 5340 Bardstown Road when he observed Paul Moore and Derrick Woods putting on bandannas and hoods in the bank parking lot.

This happened at 12:30 Monday afternoon.

Police say they were able to stop the robbery before the men were even able to step foot inside the bank.

Police say Woods fled the scene when police arrived, but was caught quickly. Moore was arrested at the scene and police say he admitted to having plans to rob that bank.

Both men are now facing Robbery charges.
