LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A Louisville woman who was allegedly stumbling while walking on Dixie Highway Friday evening has been arrested after police found Xanax in her vagina and a white powder in her purse.
According to police, Melissa Huff was approached by police in the parking lot of Rally's at 1040 Dixie Highway after she was allegedly stumbling into traffic while walking.
Police said Huff had slurred speech and was stumbling while walking. When asked her name, police said she identified herself as Melissa Middleton, but couldn't provide an address. While officers and the woman talked, a friend of the woman drove up and told police the suspect's real name.
Huff was taken into custody and police found a bag of Xanax pills lodged in her vagina. Huff told officers she was planning to give the pills to someone else. Police also found a white substance in Huff's purse which they believed to be crack cocaine.
Melissa Huff is charged with tampering with physical evidence, possession of a controlled substance, trafficking a controlled substance, providing a false name to officers and public intoxication.
